Jimmy ‘n Grab: Right here, smack dab in the heart of Ely, someone’s got the guts to jimmy a ride and snatch what ain’t theirs. Our ever-watchful Deputy’s boots hit the ground, but the thief’s already smoke in the wind.

Radio Silence: A family member’s signal goes dead. Days roll by without a word. The Deputy’s out there, chasing ghosts, but sometimes even ghosts don’t want to be found. The saga continues.

Runaway Reversed: Midnight escapade, juvenile feet pounding the dusty Ely roads. A homecoming by daylight, though. The prodigal kid, returning to the fold.

Street Kings and Queens: Kids on bikes, claiming asphalt kingdoms with the blessing of some parents. One voice rises above, “Where’s the order?” Deputy’s pen dances, logging another tale of mountain town anarchy writ small.

Cat’s Cruel Curtain Call: Some heartless shooter takes aim, and a cat’s ninth life runs out. The night’s filled with more than just shadows; sometimes it’s whispered threats. Deputy’s on it, but justice remains elusive.

The Online Mirage: Ah, the siren song of a too-good check. A dance of deception and the age-old game of cat and mouse. The Deputy’s chasing digital shadows, tracing the scent of the scammer.

Transient Tales: A lone figure in a bustling store, living under no roof but the stars. Just seeking a momentary escape from Ely’s biting winds. Our Deputy extends a hand, but it’s waved away, another soul passing through.

Aultman’s Asphalt Tango: Adrienne A. Willis, Ely’s very own, gets a little too cozy on the tail of another car. Crash and burn at a crossroad of destinies. A ticket writes the end of this chapter.

Childhood Crime: Young mischief-makers, nabbing what they fancy. The price? A date with juvenile justice. Our Ely store, a little lighter; its shelves, a little emptier.

Reno’s Rough Ride: Enter Clarissa G. May of Reno fame, misjudging her vehicular pirouette. Metal meets metal, the cacophony breaking Ely’s serene quiet. Another citation added to Ely’s ever-growing collection.

Broken Bonds: A tale as old as time, custody wars, where hearts and words collide. The Deputy finds himself in the fray, trying to piece together a puzzle of shared lives.

Echoes of Ire: An apartment door becomes the canvas for someone’s frustrations, a loud proclamation of “I’m here and I’m mad!” But one stern chat, and it’s back to apartment etiquette.

Midnight Mischief: Neighbors forgetting the clock, cranking up the nocturnal noise. Ely’s peace, momentarily derailed. Deputy’s intervention, and the decibels drop. Another night under the Great Basin sky carries on in tranquility.
